WHAT IS AN IME?
An Independent Medical Evaluation (IME) is a third-party medical exam, where the assessor and the examinee had no prior relationship and / or contact. The purpose of this procedure is to objectively and impartially evaluate the extent of examinee’s injuries and properly document the expert opinion of a qualified healthcare professional.

Medical Assessments also set groundwork for injured individuals to formulate an efficient treatment plan in order to get back to pre-accident health condition in the most efficient way.

IME is most commonly required in resolving insurance claims, documenting injuries in a legal dispute or providing guidance on safe return to work.
